The self-cleaning of photovoltaic systems is often not enough to achieve the maximum profit over years or even decades. If there is no cleaning at all it leads to a loss of profit up to 15%. Especially at large size plants, installed on the roofs of agricultural or industrial used building, the manual cleaning makes it challenging. GS-TEC develops cleaning robots and remote control systems for PV systems.

The latest development – the „UNIROB S5000“ – was equipped with a light weight carbon fiber frame. Improved stiffness combined with a maximum of weight reduction allows a careful and cost efficient cleaning of photovoltaic modules.
